We're looking for a counsellor to work as part of our Community Health team with clients with a diverse range of mental health conditions. 

Some of the ways you'll make a difference:

• Provide trauma-informed counselling (onsite and via telehealth)
• Conduct risk assessments & safety planning 
• Develop client-centred therapeutic plans 
• Advocate for clients & connect them with relevant services
• Facilitate community-based health & well-being sessions
• Engage with local stakeholders & promote the program at community events
• Contribute to ongoing service development & best practice approaches

About you

To be successful in this role you will need:

• A minimum three-year relevant bachelor's qualification which meets the requirements of the Peak Body Registration
• Be eligible to register (or) hold current registration with one of the Professional Bodies at the required level: PACFA - Clinical, ACA - Lvl3 or above, Full - AASW or General Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist.
• Experience in trauma-informed counselling, working with a diversity of client presentations
• Works closely as part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to service innovation
• Strong communication and engagement skills    
• Highly organised 
• Obtain a current Working with Children Check , First Aid, CPR and police check
