The Role

We are looking for experienced Enrolled Nurses (ENs) to join our Gisborne Oaks residential aged care home in Gisborne, home to approximately 100 residents.

We have four casual positions available and are seeking compassionate, reliable Enrolled Nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Flexibility to work across different shifts, including weekends, and availability to pick up additional shifts based on the home's operational needs will be highly regarded.

Our Nurses deliver specialised, high-quality nursing care to older Victorians in our residential homes. Each day, they have the chance to apply their skills in a meaningful way, have more autonomy for critical thinking and space to make a positive impact within their communities.

• Apply clinical skills and up-to-date knowledge of the ageing process to residents within the home
• Be responsive to residents' care through tailoring holistic care to meet individual needs
• Respect and promote dignity, privacy and confidentiality of each resident at all times
• Systematically plan, implement and evaluate care, and oversee accurate and timely documentation
• Spend time with the residents to connect, share stories and show empathy

About you

• Current Division 2 nursing registration with AHPRA
• Previous experience working as an Enrolled Nurse, preferably in residential aged care
• Experience creating genuine connections with residents, families and team members
• Understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration
• The ability to show empathy and treat others with dignity and respect, and a collaborative approach to working with residents, staff, colleagues and other key stakeholders
• Demonstrated application of clinical skills in areas such as tissue viability, continence management, dementia/behaviour management and infection control
• Flexibility to work across AM, PM and/or night duty shifts, including weekends
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance ID or ability to obtain
