The Role

Make a meaningful impact as a Community Physiotherapist, helping people across the Macedon Ranges improve their mobility, independence and quality of life. Macedon Ranges Health (supported by Benetas) is looking for a passionate Grade 2 Physiotherapist, or an experienced Grade 1 ready to take the next step, to join our Allied Health team in Gisborne.

This is a 12-month, part-time position working approximately 0.6 FTE across three days per week, Monday to Wednesday, 8.30am–4.30pm. There may be flexibility to agree on alternative working days with the successful candidate.

Working with clients across a variety of ages, backgrounds and health conditions, you will provide assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services in both clinic and community settings. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your caseload while being supported by an experienced and collaborative multidisciplinary team.

About you

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Grade 2 experience, or solid Grade 1 experience with readiness to progress
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills
  • A collaborative and person-centred approach
  • Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills
  • A commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
  • A valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain one

  • Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of musculoskeletal, neurological, chronic health and age-related conditions
  • Develop individualised treatment plans aligned with each client’s needs and goals
  • Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions in clinic and home settings
  • Provide individual consultations and facilitate selected group programs
  • Support clients to improve their mobility, independence and overall wellbeing
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues, families and other healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
