Each day, they have the chance to apply their skills in a meaningful way, have more autonomy for critical thinking and space to make a positive impact within their communities.

The Role

We are looking for experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Broughton Hall residential aged care home in Camberwell, supporting a warm and welcoming community of 65 residents.

This is a casual role, with regular Friday morning shifts available. There will also be opportunities to pick up additional shifts across the home as they become available, making this a great option for an RN looking for flexibility while continuing to build experience in residential aged care.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, including resident assessments, incident reports and related care documents
  • Monitor residents’ clinical needs and escalate changes as required
  • Provide guidance and support to the care team, including Personal Care Workers and Enrolled Nurses
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues and other key stakeholders

About you

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, Division 1
  • At least 12 months’ experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Availability to work Friday morning shifts and flexibility to pick up additional shifts as available
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance ID or the ability to obtain
  • Good judgement and decision-making skills; able to respond quickly to issues and effectively resolve
  • The ability to show empathy and treat others with dignity and respect, and a collaborative approach to working with residents, staff, colleagues and other key stakeholders
  • An understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration
  • A high level of accountability for your own work
  • A friendly and positive attitude with the ability to demonstrate client-focused behaviour
