The Role

As a Support Services Officer, you will play a key role in enhancing the client experience by supporting the Community Health & Care regional team with operational and administrative functions. You will help ensure our services are responsive, efficient, and person-centred, enabling older Victorians to live safely, independently, and well in their own homes. This role reports to the Operations Manager and is instrumental in supporting the delivery of high-quality aged care services.

You'll achieve this through:

  • Based across our Blackburn and Mooroolbark offices
  • Providing exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for client, family, and stakeholder enquiries.
  • Supporting day-to-day operational and administrative functions to ensure the smooth running of regional services.
  • Maintaining accurate, confidential, and compliant client records and documentation.
  • Assisting with reporting, audits, quality activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Building positive working relationships with clients, families, colleagues, and external stakeholders while promoting the Benetas values and customer experience principles.

About You

You are an organised and customer-focused administration professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and making a meaningful difference in people's lives.

You'll bring:

  • Previous experience in administration, customer service, or operational support, ideally within aged care, community services, health care, or a similar sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare correspondence and meeting minutes.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of computer literacy, particularly across Microsoft Office applications.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and team-focused approach with a commitment to person-centred service delivery and continuous improvement.

All persons at Benetas will need to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Clearance to be eligible for employment or engagement. You can find out more information here.
